Heritage Waxed Canvas Steamer Backpack No. 2

High quality bag at a great price. This is probably the most comfortable Bag I've ever used. Very easy fit all my EDC items and looks great. I carry a 15 in MacBook Air, ReMarkable 2 table, 1L water bottle, and a couple of books at any given time and it does not feel like I'm weighed down or wearing a bulging turtle shell on my back. Highly recommend.

It’s a bit bigger than I thought, which is great! Using it as a bag for grad school, with plans to use on my European travel plans after school!

This bag is so cool and it’s so classic and seems built really, really well. Finish is amazing. Not one stray thread needs to be trimmed (we called them Irish pennants in the Navy). Wife LOVES it. Side note: customer service is excellent according to her.

I purchased the green color and use it everyday to house my paperwork for work. I can put my wallet, electronics and even goodies like my water and soda in it. It has been a workhorse for my. The craftsmanship is exceptional. Truly exceptional in every detail. One of my patient's eyed it and told me how much he liked it and envied it's craftsmanship. I told him that he didn't know the half of it and showed him the backpack up close and personal -- all the features I liked. He already knew the leather was very high quality. He loved the green canvas too. So, this is such an incredible find. I'd purchase another in a heartbeat. I thought the blue stripped lining would bug me but didn't. 3 zippered compartments, a sueded compartment, sueded straps, and, the contour of the straps is unique and just right. You've outdone yourself with this. You got this really really right.

I purchased this right after you offered it in green. I needed a bag that had waxed canvas because the spring rains were coming and I wanted it for work. So this bag stylishly fit the bill. At that time, you didn't have a video that showed all the extra details of this bag. Let me tell you, it is a functional work of art. This bag is exceptionally well crafted. The leather is high quality. The handles are substantial in their feel. The 3 zippered compartments are just in the right places. The sueded compartment is a very nice touch and the straps -- they are sculptured (it really makes a difference) and sueded too. I wasn't sure about the striped material on the inside but it really doesn't bother me once in hand. The bag feels good against my body. I purchased it to carry what I need for work: files, paperwork , wallet, phones and cording. It's perfect for that. I can even stash my lunch in it and still have a bunch of room. I've received compliments on it. Even one of my patient told me he eyed it since the day I walked on the unit with it on, and commented how well made it was. Well...then I showed him how well it really was made. He was all gaga and is coming to your site to get one. I'm very happy with this purchase.

First of all, this company has the most fabulous customer service of any I know...top to bottom. I've purchased several pieces, and all are of the finest craftsmanship you can imagine, with elegant touches that make it even more special. This particular backpack is GORGEOUS. It's masculine, but not so much that a woman wouldn't want to carry it, and it's roomy and perfect for overnight packing without needing a huge bag. I bought this bag to carry my laptop and a couple clothes for a trip to the Netherlands. I wanted to go light and easy so no bag check or dealing with a roller. Had a lot of comments on the beautiful bag.

Well made and beautiful.

The interior pockets help me keep all of my belongings well organized. One for a battery, phone, other stuff like headphones and notepads as well. It even has an internal water pocket! There was so much thought behind the making of this backpack.

This backpack is amazing but it is extremely difficult to get into. I suppose back in the day, when people had much more time, this would not have been a problem. Nowadays we are required to access things much more regularly. This could all be solved with a simple zipper across the back of the bag. Quick, easy access and you still get the amazing vintage look. Other than this fact the bag is awesome. The quality and craftsmanship is beautiful. Looking forward to my next delivery which is already on the way. Attention Mission Mercantile. When you create the prototype with the zipper please make it in green and send it my way as a thanks for the awesome suggestion. Said with a smile and prayer.

This bag is absolutely stunning, very well made.

I bought the light canvas and leather. It’s perfect. Already used it at a farmers market. Everyone wanted to know where I got it. The only trouble that I have had with it is the way the strap works to open and. Just a little time consuming. But then it’s the strap that helps give it that unique look. Wish there was a smaller everyday size.

I bought this bag on sale to use for when I go grocery shopping. I ride a bike so carrying a few items home in the roomy backpack frees up my arms and hands. The craftsmanship is superb and the shoulder straps are very comfortable. I highly recommend this bag.
