My first impression of the Medium Ice Block Tote Bag was one of rugged elegance. It is both extremely well-constructed and at the same time, handsome. It immediately brought to mind something that our 26th President, naturalist and father of our National Parks, Teddy Roosevelt would have carried on his many expeditions and it so well designed that it would have lasted him throughout all of his travels. I could not be happier with my purchase and definitely recommend this product to anyone who prefers quality and timelessness over fad and fashion.

Terrific bag well constructed!
While being a bit heavy for its size, this bag is bullet-proof/ well constructed/ and leaves nothing to fail expectations. It suits every need from a tool bag to a briefcase that does not look like a briefcase. Good for a short grocery run as well. I love it!

Heritage Waxed Canvas Medium Ice Block Tote Bag.
Perfect size, quality materials, excellent workmanship. I bought it as a second bag for crafting but like it so much it is now my everyday bag. I highly recommend this tote. It's not what I expected...
This clearly is well made. I had the canvas backpack which was beyond expectation. And I just received my green duffle that is like WOW. I guess it isn't fair to compare this to it. But the backpack was the benchmark. The tote collapses into the bottom. It is unlined. The leather is very high quality and the straps for carrying is the same high quality. One of the rivets from below already had greened the canvas above it. It is convenient to use and a little small for me. I wavered between 3 and 4 stars but that was only due to expectation, not craftsmanship. I wanted the green color but only the cream color was available. Would I purchase again? Maybe IF it were green. Would I recommend it? It depends on your use. If you are using it to tote groceries or maybe even your bible to services, it will work fine. I don't know where else I'd use it.

Does this back scratch easily. And does it attract lint from clothing. I had a Tecova wax canvas bag that scratched easily and lint stuck to it.
Love the look of this bag! The pic of the bag open makes it look huge based on the other dimensions. I understand it will collapse when empty but assume there is not a doctor bag type “frame” in the top that will hold it open? TY!
