Like another reviewer, I wasn’t madly in love with the purse when I first unboxed it but after carrying it one day, I’m crazy about it. The leather is buttery soft, the purse is the perfect size to hold what I need, and it’s so well-made. And oh that leather smell, yum! I looked at a Frye leather tote before this one and I am beyond happy I chose this one. It’s a gorgeous, classy bag that goes with everything but also looks damn amazing just hooked on the back of a chair. I am going to get the tote that matches this one next!

The attention to detail and quality of both the leather and craftsmanship is second to none. This is the third item I have have purchased from MM and it wont be the last. It is good to see the old world, built forever craftsmanship is still alive.

I’m kind of a purse freak - I keep looking for the perfect one to fit my stuff, but also force me to cut down. This one fit the bill. I wanted it to go over my shoulder and under my arm - without having to hoist my shoulder up to keep it from sliding. It does not slide. The included pouch is great for helping to organize stuff rather than having it float around in the abyss. I think my search has ended - this is the most expensive purse I’ve ever bought and I plan to use it forever more (I’m 76) so it might not be as long as someone else !
I’ve been looking for a new purse recently when I came across the website for Mission Mercantile. I absolutely love this bag! It smells wonderful, the leather is soft and it is just the right size. My husband even liked it so much that I ordered him a new wallet from Mission Mercantile!
I really love this bag. Looks great, high quality. It’s the perfect size. I wasn’t sure about the lack of an inside zipper pocket (it has one pocket that doesn’t zip), but the separate zippered pouch actually works better! P.S. I purchased this bag after complimenting my friend’s which she’s owned for 20 years!

This is a handsome bag. The leather is soft but the purse still maintains it's shape. It is just the right size, not too big or heavy for everyday use. The purse came with a zippered pouch which fits nicely in the purse and can be attached with a snap located inside the bag if so desired. I absolutely love the key fob which can also attach to the interior of the bag. I refuse to get a purse without a means of keeping my keys handy. I have been spoiled with Ellington Bags! Also, rest assured that if you buy from this company you will have excellent customer service. I had a question and concern and customer service reached out to me almost immediately. Very happy with this purchase.

When the bag first arrived, I liked it, but wasn't excited about it. Have only used it a few times. It is a beautiful bag. Have positioned the strap to the lowest level and still have plenty of room for shoulder and not too long to use as a handle. The small purse with a zipper is very handy and fits the purse perfect. Did not think I would use the key fob, but now love it. No more searching for keys! After using the purse only a few times since arrival, I am so pleased that I made the purchase. (Would be helpful to have a pocket/pouch on outside for phone, papers, etc.) Beautiful, Roomy, lightweight. Love it!
Although I usually do not wear brown and am not a rock and roll musician but a grandmother, I purchased this purse and like it. It is light and well designed—I use the front pocket for my iPhone and the interior for a pen, a makeup bag, and a thin wallet. My favorite feature is the hook for my key ring. The purse has forced me to pare down, and that is good!
