I discovered Mission Mercantile on the website for Colonial Williamsburg. MM makes several pieces in the CW leather goods line for visitors and lovers of history. My previous experience with Colonial Williamsburg hinted that Mission Mercantile products must be quality to be worthy of being sold under their name. I explored the Mission Mercantile website and found this beautiful blue leather zippered tote bag that came with a matching pouch. I ordered this item, along with having it monogrammed with my initials. The tote arrived fairly quickly. I immediately noted that the leather was thick and sturdy, and the sewing was done well. My initials were placed perfectly on the front of the tote, as I had hoped, and the color was uniform throughout the tote's surface. The zipper works well, and the interior is nicely finished. I am very happy with this purchase. Don't tell, but I decided to place an order for several more items to give as Christmas gifts. I'm confident they will be received well.
I’ve owned and carried many a work/tote bag but this beauty has fast become my favorite. It has gorgeous classic styling and holds everything I need including: 13” laptop, planner, notebook, pen pouch, wallet, keys, scarf, a snack and a water bottle. The perfectly sized zippered pouch that comes with the bag has become my makeup and personal items bag. I chose to have mine monogrammed and I love how that elevated the timeless look of the bag. When I received this bag, I was overjoyed with how large it was (I basically keep my life in my purse), as it’s hard to tell in pictures. The leather smell is so amazing and really tells you how authentic and luxurious it is. So soft, but sturdy. I opted to add initials to personalize and I’m beyond happy with it. This will be my go-to bag for everyday use. High quality without the designer price tag. Highly recommend!!
This bag is so nice. Really nice. Beautifully nice. It’s soft and smells good and looks even better. I love the long strap as well as carrying it with the short handles. I got my initials on it and that looks great too. I’ve bought bags from most of the popular brands and for the same price, this one is such better quality.
Ordering process was smooth. Customer service reached out to ask if my order was correct before shipping. They then reached out to me when the purse was shipped. I had to reach out to them to let them know I didn’t receive my key fob with my bag. Customer service let me know it was being shipped out to me. Great experience! I was so excited when I saw the video of the slouchy, buttery leather of this bag. It’s the way I love my leather bags. Very soft, yet sturdy, and a pleasure to carry. I added extra holes to the strap so I could carry it as a shoulder bag. LOVE it! Lots of room, even fits my laptop!
I love this purse! I was looking for a purse that I would NOT put on my shoulder due to neck issues. This purse checks all the boxes! The leather smells wonderful! Leather is thick but soft and still keeps its shape and stands up. I love the magnet closure and key fob snap (bc I have issues w keeping up w key fob!) The inside pocket and pouch are extra bonus and very soft and nice. This is sooooo worth the wait! I went the extra mile and treated mine w water protectant bc I plan on keeping it for a LONG time!
The leather is sumptuous and smells amazing! I love the raw, unlined interior and the magnetic closure is fantastic - you can get in and out quickly without having to zip or buckle anything, yet your things are safely secured. The drop of the handles is perfect, and I never thought I’d find the perfect bag, but here I am❤️❤️ Now if they would only make it in black next . . .
Just received this gorgeous bag yesterday. My husband got it for my Christmas gift. I can see why it was on waitlist! It smells so good and the leather is supple. It is made to stand up and I love that. Plenty of room with easy access. The personalization gives it just the right touch! The shopkeeper kept me informed while I was waiting for the restock. I would definately order again. Very pleased!

Love this bag! Quality is fantastic and the size is perfect! I’ve been searching for a quality tote that is that isn’t overwhelming and so big that you can’t keep all your items organized! This one does the trick! The leather is soft and comfortable but also is substantial enough to hold its shape and stand on its own! Customer service is wonderful, will be making more purchases with them!
After a month of trying to decide on my new purse, I stumbled upon this company again after making a gift purchase from them a few months prior. I really like the bag, the only things I wished I could have been able to get longer handles on the bag and the image shows the leather a little more pebbled. The bag I received is a little more flat in texture but maybe in time it will loosen up.
