Its a beautiful bag, with great aesthetics, and yet highly functional in terms of capacity and compartments for your business needs.
I came across the briefcase by chance while searching for a new bag on the internet and it immediately caught my eye. It is so different from all those sleek executive bags! At first glance, it has a strong character, ruggedness and durability. Here in Europe, I have never seen anything like it from anyone. So I thought: why not? And I ordered it. Fortunately, it arrived safely, but I would recommend packing the Mission Mercantile in bubble wrap or other protective material, because the cardboard box did not survive the long journey in perfect condition. The main thing is that it is an amazing briefcase! Such thick and yet soft leather with a beautiful pronounced grain, high-quality inner lining, copper rivets and thoughtful details. For this reason, it has its weight, which may not suit everyone. The internal layout into two separate compartments is perfect. I am sure that the briefcase will grow into even more beautiful with each passing day. And what is more: the promise of a simple handshake also played a role. Keep it up, MM!
This bag is awesome. Plenty of storage for a laptop, journal, power cords, daily odds and ends, a glock, and still some more room for anything you pick up along the way.

I saw an ad for this piece on Instagram and was instantly drawn to it.
I feel at times, when you see something online, and purchase it, you get the product in hand and feel let down because it doesn't look like the picture. This was not one of those times.
The craftsmanship and quality is beyond exceptional and I can only imagine this bag will be handed down for generations to come. Super happy that I pulled the trigger on this one!

I absolutely love my briefcase. It has more room than I expected.
I purchased the Theodore Briefcase and Duffle - unparalleled craftsmanship compared with what is out there - I took advantage of a sale plus new customer additional 15% discount and both bags cost less than $900 - yes, a lot, but substantially less than other handcrafted bags - a similar duffle from another company in England is $2500 alone. It isn’t for everyone and it may not fit everyone’s particular needs or budget - but that doesn’t detract from its inherent quality - it’s a value judgement.

My husband was very happy with this gift. He loves leather! This briefcase has two sections that organizes his electronics and books well. Having a pocket that can be unzipped to put over his luggage handle was a hit! The quality construction means this will last him many years. Maybe it will be passed on to another generation. Truly great craftsmanship.
First of all the leather is beautiful and very substantial. It is not overly supple but in time we know the leather will give and become more pliable. Craftsmanship seems good and durable. If I had one regret it would be the zippers. They are very rough and not smooth. It would also be nice if they were dual zippers instead of one way zippers... a needed change for a briefcase.
The cloth inside of the bag is very nice and well made. Overall, a beautiful bag that will last a lifetime no doubt.

This year I started my first corporate job, and my wife and colleagues had been teasing me for that fact that I was using my childhood backpack as my work bag. Thus started the process to replace my dependable backpack that has been with me through many years. I searched for months online and in stores for the right bag. Like most people searching for their first briefcase, I was tempted by the flashy, high-end designer brands or the new-wave designers that promise ergonomics. Yet both options seemed to be lacking either style or usability. That is until I discovered, Mission Mercantile. Full disclosure as a hotshot marketing rep, the website was a disappointment, but from the moment I watched the instructional walkthrough video I knew that every product that they made had not only been crafted with care, but had also been perfect over the years and traditions that they’ve upheld. My new bag catches eyes, holds everything I need including a 32 oz water bottle, lunch, and a a laptop. I still find myself basking in the leather smells. It’s usability is practical without sacrificing its old-school flair. I have no doubt in my mind that the same care and compassion that went into the manufacturing of my bag will go into resolving any issues that may arise. Like I said, I went through countless bags before I found this one and I guess the old adage is true. Good things are worth the wait!
