This was a Christmas gift to myself to replace my old canvas weekend bag that had a million miles on it. You could fit about 4-5 days of clothing fairly comfortably. The only thing is - this bag gets heavy! The full grain leather naturally has its own weight to it. If this bag is full, the weight may be an issue for smaller folks. If you weigh 200 lbs + like I do, the weight won't be an issue as it has a handle and shoulder strap.
The leather is unlike any other I've purchased in the past. Full grain, high quality. This thing is going to be my go-to bag for decades to come, that's how good this thing is!

I purchased the Theodore Briefcase and Duffle - unparalleled craftsmanship compared with what is out there - I took advantage of a sale plus new customer additional 15% discount and both bags cost less than $900 - yes, a lot, but substantially less than other handcrafted bags - a similar duffle from another company in England is $2500 alone. It isn’t for everyone and it may not fit everyone’s particular needs or budget - but that doesn’t detract from its inherent quality - it’s a value judgement.
I was looking for a sturdy, good looking bag for weekend trips and carry-on capable for flights. I frequently travel to locations where a roller bag would be impracticable. The Theodore Leather Duffle Bag fits the bill. I am sure that it will bring many years of good use.

This bag reeks quality: the thick, supple, pebbled leather; the copper rivets; the careful attention to detail, with every stitch perfect (I checked). I love that this bag isn't bristling with a million geeky exterior pockets, I love that it doesn't have a bevy of buckles that are a pain to open and close. I love that it lacks a cheap plastic sleeve sewn onto the front to display your contact info. I love that the heavy fabric sewn into the bag's interior is a dark camel color (that is, neutral) rather than the absolutely hideous plaids sewn into some bags costing twice as much, spoiling their looks. I love the size of this bag: larger than a weekender, but not so large that it needs to be checked on a plane (unless you pack it tight). I love the versatility of this bag. It goes with chinos, jeans, or an elegant Italian suit. The heavy duty YKK zipper opens with barely a tug. The sturdy, stitched, removable shoulder strap is integral to the bag's design, rather than an afterthought (a surprising number of expensive leather duffles are paired with canvas shoulder straps). While this isn't an inexpensive bag, it's a value.
I bought this bag for my husband for Christmas. We just got home from our first trip with him using the bag. The bag is substantial, well made, classic and beautiful. The question is…what style of bag do I want? We definitely will be adding to our collection.

Ive been looking for a leather bag for quite some time. When I ran across your duffel, I immediately ordered it. I can be a difficult customer, but I am more than satisifed with the quality of this bag. Allbof the $200 to $300 bags I looked at appeared nice, but were clearly inferior. Cheaper leather, stitching, and zippers. I will be ordering the backpack, briefcase, toiletry, and passport cover.
