Mission Mercantile was founded to create and proudly stand behind our products, built by craftsmen using materials, that with proper use and care, will live on, passed down the generations as heirlooms enriched and refined with age and memories of past personal journeys.
Our Shopkeeper will personally assist you with determining the right resolution for your situation.
Franklin was a successful inventor, writer, publisher, diplomat, drafter/signer of our Declaration of Independence, abolitionist, entrepreneur, and networker. Another true Renaissance man … and Mission Man.
Our Benjamin Collection is an intentional nod (and wink!) to good ol’ Ben, who would have felt right at home grabbing his namesake collection as his EDC (everyday carry for your Benjamins). In fact, social critic David Brook called Franklin “our founding Yuppie.” Intentionality was our emphasis, from the hand-selected, marbled, twice-tanned leather (both chrome and vegetable tanning) to the rich yet simplistic lines visible in each Benjamin leather good. We can imagine Mr. Franklin proudly carrying his collection on the streets of Philadelphia, Paris, or anywhere in the world his business or exploits might take him.
Where will your adventures take you with the Benjamin by your side?
Inspired by the statesman, inventor, theorist and author, the Benjamin Leather Briefcase is all about helping the workingman accomplish his tasks. Its weathered, been-around-the-world look, feel and smell of fine leather speaks volumes of its owner.
As Franklin wrote two centuries ago, "It is the working man who is the happy man. It is the idle man who is the miserable man."
Set this bag down in a meeting and see who looks like the wise-beyond-his-years go-getter. As Franklin stated, "He that waits on fortune is never sure of a dinner." Go get ‘em. Remember, the Constitution only gives people the right to pursue happiness. You have to catch it yourself.
