I love that it lacks a cheap plastic sleeve sewn onto the front to display your contact info. I love that the heavy fabric sewn into the bag's interior is a dark camel color (that is, neutral) rather than the absolutely hideous plaids sewn into some bags costing twice as much, spoiling their looks. I love the size of this bag: larger than a weekender, but not so large that it needs to be checked on a plane (unless you pack it tight). I love the versatility of this bag. It goes with chinos, jeans, or an elegant Italian suit. The heavy duty YKK zipper opens with barely a tug. The sturdy, stitched, removable shoulder strap is integral to the bag's design, rather than an afterthought (a surprising number of expensive leather duffles are paired with canvas shoulder straps). While this isn't an inexpensive bag, it's a value.

This bag reeks quality: the thick, supple, pebbled leather; the copper rivets; the careful attention to detail, with every stitch perfect (I checked). I love that this bag isn't bristling with a million geeky exterior pockets, I love that it doesn't have a bevy of buckles that are a pain to open and close. I love that it lacks a cheap plastic sleeve sewn onto the front to display your contact info. I love that the heavy fabric sewn into the bag's interior is a dark camel color (that is, neutral) rather than the absolutely hideous plaids sewn into some bags costing twice as much, spoiling their looks. I love the size of this bag: larger than a weekender, but not so large that it needs to be checked on a plane (unless you pack it tight). I love the versatility of this bag. It goes with chinos, jeans, or an elegant Italian suit. The heavy duty YKK zipper opens with barely a tug. The sturdy, stitched, removable shoulder strap is integral to the bag's design, rather than an afterthought (a surprising number of expensive leather duffles are paired with canvas shoulder straps). While this isn't an inexpensive bag, it's a value.

Ive been looking for a leather bag for quite some time. When I ran across your duffel, I immediately ordered it. I can be a difficult customer, but I am more than satisifed with the quality of this bag. Allbof the $200 to $300 bags I looked at appeared nice, but were clearly inferior. Cheaper leather, stitching, and zippers. I will be ordering the backpack, briefcase, toiletry, and passport cover.
